Client must have access to email. All correspondence and scheduling will also be done through email.
Organization will only accept clients that are working off traffic tickets, parking tickets or bylaw fines.
Mon-Thurs – 9:15am-12:00pm Afternoon shift- 1:15pm-4:00pm
Minimum Age: 14 (accompanied by an adult) 16 to volunteer on your own.
Tasks such as: sorting food donations (frozen, fresh, or dry), making food hampers, assembling boxes, re-packing bulk food items and cleaning/organizing/recycling. Volunteers must in good health as standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending, and loading will be involved. Face masks must be worn at all times. Gloves will also be required for certain tasks and will be provided to you.
Drive Thru Attendant
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:45am-12:00pm Afternoon shift- 12:00pm-4:00pm
Minimum Age: 18
checking their ID, making sure their name is on the appointment list and then loading the food hamper into their vehicle. Most of the shift will be spent outside
Volunteers must in good health as lifting, bending, and loading will be involved. Volunteers must be able to lift and carry up to 45lbs unassisted. You will be working with a Regina Food Bank staff member and/or another volunteer. They will provide training upon arrival and be there throughout the shift. Face masks must be worn at all times.
If a client is not able to make a shift they must let them know in advance. Three missed shifts will result in file being closed. If a client is not able to make their shift and does not let Food Bank staff know in advance, their file will be ended immediately.
